Eutech to Design and Implement Intelligent City Management System (ICMS) for World-class Waterfront Lifestyle Resort at the Prestigious Dubai Festival City

The Al-Futtaim Group has awarded the design and implementation of an enterprise-wide Intelligent City Management System (ICMS) at the prestigious Dubai Festival City (DFC) to the Singapore-based enterprise infrastructure management software solutions specialists, Eutech Cybernetics.
Dubai Festival City is a world class waterfront lifestyle resort that has been designed to capture the ground breaking 21st century spirit of Dubai. It offers a rich and vibrant living experience that encompasses the finest, easily accessible shopping, dining, entertainment, homes, schools, hotels, offices and leisure in one place.
Privately funded by the Al-Futtaim Group, Dubai Festival City is formed of three expansive districts: Marsa Al Khor, Festival Center and Al Badia - linked together by an impressive 16km internal road system and a wide Creek-side Corniche spanning 3.8km. The City has been designed for 20,000 homes, 180 buildings and a community of 100,000 people to live, work and play.
Eutech Cybernetics will deploy its iViva.Works™ suite of infrastructure management applications as the centerpiece to deliver among others the following:
- Management and Control through a Central Command Center (CCC)
- Integrated Utilities Management System
- Interactive City Community Services

- Variable Messaging System (VMS)
- Location Based Services
- Information Kiosks and Global Directory
- Parking Guidance Systems
- Integration of over 5 M & E systems in each of the planned 180 buildings
- Managing integration with multiple Building Automation Systems
- Interfacing of over 350,000 I/O Points
The first phase of the deployment of the system is estimated to be completed and operationalized by May 2007.
