LanTroVision Signs Agreement to Market Eutech Cybernetics’ CatseyeVision Smart Home Solution in Asia Pacific

Singapore, Friday, February 25, 2005

Eutech Cybernetics and LanTroVision (S) Ltd today announced the appointment of LanTroVision as the distributor for Eutech’s CatseyeVision Smart Home/Home Gateway Solution in the Asia Pacific region. LanTroVision (www.lantro.com), a publicly listed company, is a premier provider of IT Infrastructure cabling and retailing services in countries such as Singapore, Malaysia, Thailand, Hong Kong and China.

Eutech’s CatseyeVision is a versatile, field proven, state-of-the art system that integrates a wide range of functionality into a single box. Key functions include security monitoring, digital CCTV surveillance, home automation, IPTV, VoIP, shared Internet and Web connectivity. An intuitive, wireless LCD Touch Screen panel provides simplistic “one-touch” viewing and control.

Another unique feature is the use of Eutech’s CatseyeAgent Secure Private Network security technology (patent pending) that ensures a significantly higher level of security in preventing hacking and security breaches. The CasteyeAgent technology has been reviewed by Cygnacom, a US National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST) testing agency and found to be more secure than conventional systems.

Compatible with a wide range of industry standards such as EIB, LonWorks, X10 and BACnet, CatseyeVision scores with regard to its price/performance benchmarks, its ability to support a fully wireless smart home implementation and the fact that it can be remotely managed from a Central Command Center. Remote management is enabled through Eutech’s iViva.works Managed Services software platform to provide integrated solutions for larger developments and gated communities.

In their going to market plan, Eutech and LanTroVision will also partner with leading multinational companies to provide bundled Smart Home solutions that bring together best practices and technologies from around the world.

CatseyeVision has been well received by leading property developers in Malaysia, Singapore, Thailand, Korea and China and is already being used in several prestigious projects. Eutech and LanTroVision expect to gain a major share of the Smart Home market in these countries within the next two years.

Dr. Hari Gunasingham, the CEO of Eutech Cybernetics said that the Agreement with LanTroVision will enable Eutech to leverage LanTroVision’s extensive sales and support network in the Asia Pacific enabling Eutech to focus on product innovation.

Mr. Chan Thye Yuan, Executive Director of LanTroVision, said that the Agreement to sell CatseyeVision was a first step in his company’s broader strategy to partner Eutech in the area of Intelligent Buildings of which Smart Homes was an important segment.
