Eutech Cybernetics Ships iVivaWorks personalSCADA 2.0

Eutech Cybernetics Pte Ltd., a leading provider of infrastructure management software, announced today the immediate availability of iVivaWorks personalSCADA 2.0, the company's SCADA (Supervisory Control and Data Acquisition) tool.

personalSCADA is a constituent of iVivaWorks, a family of products that provides end-to-end solutions for intelligent building management, property and facility management, energy asset management and network management, among others.

A key new feature of the product is its ability to distribute the backend among many computers and yet manage the system as a single entity. Distribution of the backend enables personalSCADA to workaround one of the inherent limitations of all SCADA products, the point limitation. Alarms and Events seamlessly integrate with the rest of the iVivaWorks family. This makes personalSCADA one of the key building blocks in a complete end to end solution, which may include automated fault reporting, approval & tracking, inventory management and manpower allocation and invoicing, among others.

As with the previous releases of the product, the new release is fully compliant with Microsoft Windows User Interface guidelines. Drag-drop editing, which was part of the product as far back as 1995, is now complimented with multi select and wizards to make configuration simpler and shrink the time required to implement a project.
